This world was saved twenty years prior by a handful of unnamed heroes in Diablo II. Warriors that survived the onslaught of the armies of the Burning Hells have gone mad from their ordeals and it is up to a new generation of heroes to face the forces of evil threatening the world of Sanctuary. Players will have the opportunity to explore familiar settings such as Tristram.
The Witch Doctor is a new character reminiscent of the Diablo II Necromancer
The Barbarians will have a variety of revamped skills at their disposal based on the use of their incredible physical prowess.

i bought it just because i was a huge d2 fan, played this for some weeks and it became repetitive already, just spam and loot, it's fun though

The only way to get good items for you charactesr is not playing the game but to buy and sold stuff from the market. This is more like working than real game play and i got bored after 3 months. Still not a bad game.

Basically diablo 2. I feel they did a lot better in making the story more compelling. As with most blizzard games patches make the game a lot better.

If you haven't played Diablo 1 or 2, then play those first as they are better. Especially Diablo 2. You are better off playing Path of Exile (free) or Torchlight 2 ($20) which are better games. Good Luck... The game likely has much less errors and glitches now but im sure so many still exist, which for a Blizzard game is pretty unacceptable. If you love Blizzard buy Star Craft 2 and its soon to come out expansion Heart of the Swarm. have to give it a 3stars so i can review it. In reality its 1.5/5 for a Blizzard game.
