I have owned several bread makers in the last 20 years or so. Most of them were of the cheaper varieties. I got tired of having to replace them due to cheap quality and not lasting. This bread maker is a heavy quality version. Makes bread that is great. The recipes that come with this maker are okay but the best recipes come from the web or specialized cook books.
I did a lot of research before buying this model. There are many cheaper breadmakers, but this model kept popping up as the best rated. We have not bought a single loaf of bread in over 6 months since buying this machine. We have made pizza dough with it and have even made meatloaf using the instructions in the manual. I have not tried making jam in it yet :)
The recipes in the manual are not for Canadian flour. Fortunately I bought a Canadian recipe book and most of the results have been great!

item is UNOPENED (with shrink wrap still intact) at the sole discretion
