The many pitfalls and potential comfort issues with the 1100 headsets make them impossible to recommend for anyone at all, period – but the 1500 headset is a solid product that offers good quality for the price, albeit with some restrictions on audio inputs.
Corsair has struck a good balance between professional and gamer-enticing aesthetics with this headset. This, combined with the all-round good performance means that you can use it for work or play without issue.
It is our opinion the Vengeance 1100's aren’t ideal for hardcore PC gamers who love the ability to hear people sneak up on them, or like heavy bass. They are however something we feel casual gamers would not mind using as they will provide a very decent audio experience when playing.
While the Vengeance 1100 is fussier to wear than a circumaural headset such as the Asus Vulcan ANC, it’s far more comfortable than any of the budget headsets we’ve attached to our skulls over the past couple of years. Given that its audio quality also puts many far more expensive headsets to shame,
There is a little tradeoff with lower sound quality, the Vengeance 1100 have strong bass, stronger than the Vengeance 1500 at default, but the treble is not as clear and smooth.

Pretty good headphones for the price. Haven't had any issues with them falling apart or breaking like other people have had. (Corsair seems to have fixed this). I mainly got them to use as a cheap mic for my pc.

This Headset is not worth the retail value of $40, I would suggest the price to be around $25 or $30. The headsets are great but all the sound escapes and disturbs people around me. If you are a budget headset buyer and you want superior quality REAL gaming Headsets then I suggest the Gamecom 780, for only $10 more it is a bang for the buck.

Bought these on sale ($5 AR), and here is my user experience with this headset when used with PC, tablet and PS3. First off, the heeadset does sound pretty good given how cheap it was. Both the speakers and mic sound clear. I tried this with analog and the USB adaptor and both sound fine on a PC. The USB adaptor does not really work with a PS3, in that if you plug it in the PS3 will notice it, however it wont allow for both game sound and voip simultaneously, basically it will give you only voip. It may be possible to get both game sound and voip, if you obtain an analog headphone Y splitter to plug the headphones both into the usb adaptor and back output of the ps3 at the same time. Personally i just used an old Triton PS3 adaptor from a dead Triton headset and plugged the headsets analog ports into it to test it out on my PS3. The main issue i have with the headset is that its not very comfortable for long term use. Eventually after a few minutes the headset starts to pinch your ears to the point that you will want to take them off. There is zero adjustment on the fit, it assumes one size fits all. I have what would be considered a normal size adult head, and i have used around the back headsets before with no issues, this corsair headset is the first one that has pinched my ears, and for this reason i would avoid buying these as a primary headset. Having said that I still think that its a good cheap headset for short term use.

It's an ok product but for 5 bucks no regrets here. The fit isn't the best, it feels like it's going to tilt off the back of my head. For some reason I can't get audio on youtube videos when I plug it in. But overall, for 5 bucks, not much complaint here. It does the job kinda. I'm using it at work for teleconferencing at desk.

I have no idea how Linus can wear them in the video. They do not even reach my ears from the back. Like 1" short. No chance from the top either as there are no extensions. Total waste of $

I've had 2 of these now in a period of 3 weeks, the first pair broke just at the end of the curve behind the ear inside of 3 days. NCIX was wonderful and exchanged it for another pair which lasted about 2 weeks before breaking in exactly the same spot.
The plastic on the side with the microphone broke and the wires are exposed it broke just by putting them on. I guess there was just too much stress on em from repeated on and off. Also many people have had them break on them on the first day or within weeks. I would only suggest to pick them up on a sale like I did and with a gift card as well so yeah invest in a sturdier pair of headset or stick with these and just be extra careful.

A little bit disappointed in the comfort of these headphones. After wearing them for a while I feel pinching on my ears, which I see from other reviews isn't uncommon. Happy with the sound quality and microphone, but could be more comfortable. I think that adding a section of the same adjustable material they used for the microphone to the headphone area would make this much more comfortable for many more users.

Product Warranty
Due to hygiene reasons, headphones and bluetooth ear pieces are non-returnable once opened. Defective items can be exchanged for the exact same model for 30 days from purchase date.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
