I needed one of these for a customer with older IDE drives she wanted to use in a new system. It's pretty barebones, but Windows XP picked it up immediately and I had no issues accessing the drives. It supposedly can be used for OS install source/destination drives, but I have not been able to test this. It includes an IDE cable (as if I don't have enough) and a low profile bracket for those who need it. That said, I'd suggest you price match, because at time of writing $35 is a bit much for the functionality offered.
