The original apple charger works good to charge the Ipad mini. But when I used the nGear, the Ipad mini would say not charging. Looks like the nGear charger doesn't have enough amperage or voltage varies like the other reviewer mentioned. Might have to stop using them on my iphone. Maybe that's why it doesn't get a full charge sometimes. I use them to run some usb fans for cooling my PVR and stereo too.

I looks just like an Apple charger, but comparing the fine print to an real Apple you'll notice spelling mistakes and technical errors on the input rating (100-240V 1.0A) while the real one is only 0.15A input.
Biggest issue is that the fake charger gets very hot while recharging, much hotter than the real Apple chargers. Searching online, there are many people who test fake Apple chargers and the results show the main issues are output noise and inconsistent voltage output, while the real Apple chargers output a steady 5V.

Hasn't died on me yet, considering that I've went through so many in the past few years. It's a pretty decent charger for the price its being sold for. I've connected my iPhone 4, iPod, a friends iPad, and plethora of other past generation iDevices to it.

The product I received had a labelled power input [NOT output] rating of 1A, that seems rather high. Official Apple charging cube and other third party chargers have power Input listed as 0.15A, or I have also seen 0.25A [The product image here on NCIX shows it labelled with 0.25A input]. This product's output is the expected 5V~1A.
Needed some extra chargers for ipod and e-reader and bought a couple of these to go with cables I also bought. Works great with no problems, very happy with purchase.

But this charger for my 2 iPod Touch to charge at home and on the go, it work perfectly. Very fast comparing to the computer usb, and the price matched at $2.04 its a steal deal.
its a charger that is identical to the genuine apple model but it cost 3.5x less than it. It is as good in terms of charge time and would recommend everyone to buy this instead of getting ripped off by apple for a simple USB to DC charger. So dont wory if you lost your apple charger and buy this like i did when that happened to me.
