The H80 is a great liquid cooling solution. It reached one of the best performances we saw on all air coolers and sealed watercoolers that we tested so far. It is also not too loud, maintaining the noise at an acceptable level even at full speed.
Performance, build quality, functionality and low noise levels all create a remarkable piece of kit that any enthusiast should be tripping over themselves to buy.
The H80 is Corsair's newest and highest end 120mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler. The "Double-thick" 38mm radiator is tailored to fit perfectly with the dual 120mm fans capable of 2600RPM and 92CFM. Offering a static pressure of 1.6-7.7mm H2O, the all black fans are perfect for shooting air direct
Take three years of progression in technology, mix in a couple of cool features and the results are this seriously strong competitor and top dog in aftermarket cooling solutions.
The latest iteration in the Hydro-series is the Corsair H80, which like its H60 predecessor uses a second generation design. This gives the H80 advanced cooling technologies such as a micro-channel cold plate design with split flow manifold, high static pressure fans, and low-profile cooling block.

Picked it up at my local NCIX store as an open box refurb for $59.99 since I was planning on picking up an AIO system sooner or later. Radiator was a little big dinged up, but nothing too terrible. Assembled new PC and installed it into my HAF 932 Advanced no problem with a push/pull configuration for maximum effectiveness and I am not disappointed. For $60 I've gotten a cooler to keep my 4.7Ghz OC'd 3570k >55 degrees under 100% load. Fans are kind of loud, but I can tolerate it since I use a headset.
Pretty awesome AIO. I went from building full custom loops to throwing this in a mini ITX rig. I have no complaints with the performance, and was able to hit 4.5ghz stable on my 3570K no problem. I highly recommend it for a no hasle, maintanence free liquid cooling setup.

This unit would be perfect if it werent for the noisy fans. It works wonderfully, the design is compact and efficient. I Would consider getting some PWM fans for this and attaching them to the motherboard controller vs the on board controller as the onboard controller requires manual interaction to change the speed profile. The high setting is "very noisy", the medium setting is noticably loud, and the quiet setting is - quiet, but doesn't move a lot of air.

Keeps my 3770K no-oc at like 20 degree. If you plan to do some overclocking, you should considering buying a h80 or h100. Very easy to install and very silent, even on maximum fan speed.

Running this cooler in a HAF 912 case for 6+ months now, and LOVING it. Keeps my i7 2600k idling at 29C, and kept my previous AMD CPU idling at 33C, so, can't really argue that!
The radiator and water-block are good, the stock fans are due for replacement for more silent one's that displace more air, overall it's worth it, make sure you got good airflow in your case also. It cools down my i5 3570k at 30c in a Corsair 300R case and 60-70 during gaming load. (Ivy-bridge is a hot cpu) and my case is small and dense. Temps would be better in a bigger case with better airflow.

Well, this thing is really good for cooling an Ivy Bridge processor. But I'm thinking that it's probably not the ideal choice, though. The thing with Ivy is that at some point you'll just give up on your OC and choose the 'sweet spot' because it just makes a whole lot more sense. A cooler like this is probably best for a CPU that doesn't have such bad returns as the Ivy Bridge ones. I feel a bit silly for upgrading this from my H50; I'm sure the temps would've been just fine since I ended up not pushing my cpu to its limit (again, makes no sense to use up so much power for so little gain).
My first water cooler and I am happy so far. It is keeping my OC i5 nice and cool <50. The instructions are very poor so i had a little trouble at first but got it all installed in the end. The stock fans are noisy and i will replace them with Noctura when they go on sale. The actual pump does make noise but it does not bother me at all (fans are louder)
