Important SSD notes:
Solid State Drives DO NOT require defragmentation. It may decrease the lifespan of the drive.
Consumers may see a discrepancy between reported capacity and actual capacity; the storage industry standard is to display capacity in decimal. However, the operating system usually calculates capacity in binary format, causing traditional HDD and SSD to show a lower capacity in Windows. In the case of SSDs, some of the capacity is reserved for formatting and redundancy for wear leveling.
Rated speeds may vary slightly depending on the benchmark used, drivers, windows version, bios version and file size. We recommend using ATTO, IOMeter, and PC Mark Vantage for benchmarking SSDs and to achieve maximum rated specifications. Maximum performance is achieved by using the P67 chipset with Native SATA 6Gbps.

Had this drive for a year now as my os drive and couldn't be happier. Completely filled it once, and still never a problem. Same initial OS install from day one.

this SSD gives a great balance of Performance and reasonable price, my windows load times have not just been reduced, but my systems loads faster than my phone does.
Worked as advertised for the first few months, after that I have been experiencing random freezing during boot and system freezing intermittently. Seems to be more of an issue getting a boot to finish properly. The system will just hang with a black screen for ever just before you would normally see the gui. I haven't tried a reinstall as it is still basically a fresh install. Plenty of space left on the drive still so it's not a matter of limited space issues. Mine had the latest firmware when I got it from ncix... will be waiting to see if it ends up dieing. I would buy an intel drive next time.

The difference between this SSD and the HD I had in my ThinkPad is night and day. Before with the stock HD it would stutter/pause if I moved during a movie/song in windows media player. After installing you can shake it all you want (dont recommend) and it wont stutter at all.
First time with using an SSD and I find it to be a great improvement over and HD. HD as a secondary for storage works fantastic. The difference between the two is the space. SSD can't hold as much and get filled up quickly. Best to have an HD or two to fill up with that wonderful time-wasting junk we all love and enjoy.

Used it for 2 months now. Works fast, and reliable so far. Still the space for the price is to much for me right now, but I would get more ssd's and bigger if price wasn't an issue. I would buy it again.
