Pretty average quality RAM from Kingston, you get reasonable bang for your buck when purchasing it. Two kits come in under a hundred bucks even with shipping, bit less if you wait for a sale, and sixteen gigs is plenty for a gaming rig.
The week I bought this ram, it was the only ram on sale that didn't have those ridiculous fins that stick up above the stick (Which keeps you from using some of the larger CPU coolers). Seriously, if your ram runs that hot, get a fan to blow air over it. Those fins, which are usually painted with a non heat conductive paint, do jack all.

My chosen cpu heatsink (Thermalright Silver Arrow) required ram that was short. I read that the large heatspreaders are basically just a decoration anyways; I guess ram runs very cool on sandy bridge motherboards.
