I bought those in March 2012. A few weeks later it started doing loud static and popping sounds which emit from both the sub and left speaker. I double check cables. Tried different locations. Same very annoying loud static and popping sounds. Very poor quality.

Stay away and do not buy this product. I was suckered by the sales rep at the Richmond Bridgeport location in buying these cheap speakers. Have since learned my lesson and will not take advice from the sales reps at NCIX nor buy cheap speakers. Too lazy to return these speakers and have since reverted back to my old Altic Lansing which is a 1000 times better.

Excellent sound for the price (paid 39.99+free ship). The unit looks good and is nice and compact for a tight work place. Only disadvantage, the audio cable is super short, I had to purchase an extension, additionally music with high's can sound tinny.

Comes with several adapter cords for connections. Excellent quality, big sound in a small room and that is only at 50% levels. Can hardly wait to watch movies with the subwoofer for the FX. Would recommend these to anyone even if they weren't on sale!

When I first plugged this in I got the crackling that a lot of people had mentioned. What stood out is when I plugged it into my phone it cleared up so it could just be bad sound cards, but the crackling is completely cleared up on my onboard sound card.

The high pitched humming sound coming from the speakers has made them unusable for me, after researching the problem online it seems to be something that often happens with this product.
I have put them back in the box and stored them in a spare room. I'm not using a set of Altec Lansing speakers which have no noticeable humming noise.

Love it. Bass just pounds! Good if u dont have a lot of room. The static noise if a lil annoying when u dont play anything but when u do its not noticeable. Lots of versatility because u can hook them up to multiple outputs! Had them for about 3 weeks and honestly cant go wrong for $40
