I bought this because it states on the box that it will universally fit my AM2 motherboard. Well, it does not. I have to contact ANTEC to try to get them to send one. Tried calling their 800 line but they just redirect you to the webpage.

Installing this cooler instead of the stock i7 2600k cooler gave me really better temps, passed from about 55 celcius to about 35.. Its pretty easy to install, and gives a great look to the pc. Just make sure your computer case as room enough for that huge heatsink.

I bought this to replace a Xigmatek HDT-S1283 heatsink (just wanted to try something different) and performance on the Xigmatek was much better under load conditions; The Antec has 4 pipes (over 2 radiators) the Xigmatek's 3 pipes (larger diameter; over 1 radiator).
There is tons of hardware for this unit (multiple different types of systems that it could be installed in) and due to size can be a bit difficult to install. Thankfully, the spring screws can be initially finger tightened then tightened further with a provided wrench unlike other heatsinks that I used where significant downward pressure had to be placed on the spring laden screw to even start the threading process.
