CM 690 II Basic raises the bar again with practical improvements over the top-selling CM 690. The spacious mid-tower will keep enthusiasts happy with room for up to 3 vga cards, high-end CPU coolers, and top or bottom mount water cooling radiator. It also features much improved airflow with oversized mesh and enough space for up to 10 fans. Maintenance will be a breeze with the tool-free drive bays, new cable management and CPU cooler retention hole.
Oversized front and top mesh design for superb ventilation.
Accommodates 120 x 240 mm radiator inside the top or bottom.
Dust-control filters for all meshed areas.
Air cooling support for up to 10 fans (with support for up to 5 x 140mm fans).

I decided with a week off for Christmas to grab a Corsair H100 and a larger case and move my rig over. I have owned many cases in the past and must say I loved this one.
Wish I'd bought the advanced version, but I don't regret the case. It's massive, very pretty, has a great black on blue LED scheme that can be turned off at the press of a button (Major bonus for someone who sleeps with their computer or just doesn't like LEDs)
The entire case is a massive vent. So it's relatively cool, and has great airflow, but lets out a lot more noise than I expected (Used the Fractal DD R3 case as my reference) It's an expected loss though, and doesn't bother me. I wouldn't recommend this if you want a powerful (We're talking quadfiring 580s here) and quiet case, but for any other situtation it's fantastic for its price range.

C'est l'un des meilleurs boitiers avec lesquels j'ai eu la chance de travailler. Il a un beau look, il est très bien fait, il a une excellente ventilation, filtration et est malgré tout très silencieux. Il est un peu massif et a une bonne dimension, mais cela montre qu'il est résistant et qu'il peut loger toutes les composantes que vous voudrez y placer... particulièrement les cartes vidéos les plus longues du marché. J'acheterais encore et encore ce boitier.

I have owned this case for a year now and the only complaint I have is the room between the side panel and motherboard tray. With all the cables I have running through the back it is somewhat difficult to get the panel back on. Other than that I have no complaints. This case has lots of fan support.

I own the CM690 I and I love it. I used the II version recently for one of my friend' build and I can say I'm really jealous. The newer version is a great improvement. Easy mounting of all the parts, and great cable management system. Possibly the greatest price-quality ratio of all time!!

An exceptionally well layed out case designed with cooling in mind. The front panel cables/wires will reach any reasonably layed out motherboard headers - even a far-reaching HD Audio. It is nice to see that one can turn off the front (fan) LED - or just don't plug it in.

This is a very nice case and especially good value for the price. Have many cons listed however am very picky about my case fans and rarely keep the included fans and use Noctua or Scythe Gentle Typhoon. Lacking a 3.5" drive bay is not much of a weakness unless you have a 3.5" external device. Very few cases have dust guards on the rear case fan as it's normally exhaust however I get better cooling with it as intake my CPU fan blows to the top of the case not out of rear and heat rises so top fans make the best exhaust.
I've owned this case for two years now. The front panel audio failed about one year in to the ownership. I contacted CM and a replacement part was sent out to me right away. Definitely satisfied with both the product and customer service.
