after all, i really enjoy this cpu, using this on a asus p7p55d-e and 12 gb of ram. a powercolor hd5770 can pretty much play any game on max settings. I would recommend a 500W+ PSU.

Installed in a Lian-Li PC-C37 on a Gigabyte H57M-USB3, Thermalright AXP-140 passive. When burning CPU and Video (in the same chip) temp jump awesome high, even with the 2 x 70mm at full speed on the side of the case directly temp goes to much high. I downclock the cpu to 2.0ghz with voltage 1v and now all works perfectly. Blu-ray need 3-10% cpu. I bought this chip but was not aware that the Intel HD was inside...bit priced for a running 2.0ghz chip but with speed and HD video, I am really happy with the HTPC.

This processor was a great deal at the time. It's currently sitting in an eVGA board and can handle anything I've thrown at it. Most games can be played at max settings. Very happy with this processor.

I am very impressed with this cpu, I installed it into an Asus Maximus III This cpu works right outa the box and the turbo boost feture rocks. This is edited because I am so Impressed with tthe speed and stability. I tuned my setup with the auto tune feture on this Asus mainboard and boy does this chip smoke. cpu speed range from 1200mhz per core to 3890mhz without manually overclocking and the temps a respectable 48 degrees with a Noctua cooler. I have had this chip as high as 4333mhz and stable with prime 95. Great job Intel for a midrange cpu.

Bought for a build for my parents and it runs very cool and is quite fast (at stock). I'm not sure how well it performs in games, but is very fast otherwise. The Intel HD video is perfect for what was needed. I'll being buying another for a second build shortly.

Over all for its price I would say its alright, though I found that in games such as GTA 4 and playing 1080p movies (with CoreAVC) I was getting some spikes during play, would recommend it though for a budget gaming pc just don't keep the default fan get something else.
