Now available in faster 8X write speed, Memorex DVD+R Double Layer media stores up to 8.5GB of data files and approximately 240 minutes of video (SP mode) on a single disc as compared to 4.7GB on a single layer disc. DL discs can be played back on most DVD players and offer users the convenience of storing long length programming, sporting events and video footage on one disc.

I use those discs for XBOX360 backups and they works fine even for XGD3 when you burn them at 2.4x. The price after PM is really good compared to Verbatim. (Read More)

I love these dual layer discs. 8.5 gigs of space for backing up large files. For really large files/games just rar the files. It's almost as good as a USB key if you want to give it to a friend or backup files permanently. Also the memorex brand name means that there will be fewer (if any) failed writes and the discs will be durable. (Read More)

Memorex is all i use I have observed since Burnable CD-R and DVD+r and DVD+DL that Memorex disks don't fail as often as cheaper disks (Read More)

I have not had a problem with Memorex DVD+R so far, (two 50 spindle packs) but I am now leary of their DVD media and will spend the extra for reliable Verbatum. Have never had a problem with Memorex CD's. (Read More)
