Function over form is clearly Noctua's game and it shows. Brown on beige is ugly in pretty much any case. I was going for a cohesive design inside and out, but I wanted the best quiet fans so that threw things off. Other than that I have no gripes because...
They are very good if you don't need lot of air and no noise. Low wattage pc is perfect. In my principal one, I use 2 of them in my pc and 1 Noctua 14mm in a Lian LI and it is near limit in full cpu gpu load but works perfectly (i3 3100 3.1 wt Corsair A70 and Gigabyte 6770 all both passive)

Bought these for use as case fans, and needed them to be Quiet! they are definatly very Quiet. You can't go wrong with Noctua fans. They just pull enough are out of my case to keep the air flowing. They are rather expensive but well worth the money spent!

A "quiet" fan is subjective. But it's perhaps one of the quietest I've had so far. I'll probably check for other fans next time. I heard of some good ones for a little bit cheaper

I got one of these for an older case that had 1 for exhaust. I built a WHS box so didn't need a lot of airflow due to lower temps. I did require the fans to be very quiet since the server box is on all the time and in an area that is exposed. On the low voltage mode it is virtually silent, just a very very faint noise is audible. I highly recommend them for a silent build such as the one I did.

This fan is slightly under power in terms of air pressure or air velocity, but enough to feed fresh cool air for most PC setups.
This fan is superb in build quality and ultra quiet. This is without any doubt the quietest component among those moving ones inside my case.

these fans are very quiet, they look kinda of weird, but they perform, i use these and nexus fans only, and its maybe little quieter than the nexus, but still impressive in my opinion
