This simply worked to upgrade an older computer. I did not want to change the whole system yet so I got an extra pair. It works in dual channel with older revisions Corsair RAMs of the same type and brand

I bought two sticks of this ram with my computer a couple of years ago, and recently bought two more sticks to upgrade to 8gb ram. It works fine and has never given me any problems.

Product Warranty
First 30 days limited warranty through NCIX.com. The remainder of the lifetime warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.
Corsair's DRAM memory modules all carry a lifetime warranty. The Flash Voyager, Flash ReadOut, TurboFlash, Flash Survivor and Mini Flash products all have a warranty for the expected normal life of the product (10 years). The Flash Padlock has a warranty of 3 years. The HX, TX, and VX Series of Power Supplies have a 5 year warranty, and Liquid Cooling products carry a one year warranty. In general, this means Corsair products are guaranteed to operate, as specified by their datasheet, and in the operating environment for which they were intended, for the life of the product or the extent of the warranty.
