Purchased a number of these over the past 6 months, and all of them have failed at different times. The most recent today, walking between two offices. Copied 30gb data and move to a new workstation, plug in and usb cannot be read. Dead on 3 different computers.
Picked this up on sale and haven't used it a whole lot but it seems faster than the older drives I have. Haven't run into any issues so far.

Average speed on USB read/write is between 15 and 30MB/s depending on controller and file sizes. Great deal when on sale for $10. Grab it then!

picked this up for less than 20 bucks, which was worth it for sure. It sure beats the $99 I paid for for a 1GB stick like 10 years ago. I have a couple of other sticks than transfer data at about 1/3 of the rate of this one so the speed is great. out of the 3 that I have bought I have had one go bad. any computer I would plug it into would immediately lock up and stop working until you unplugged the stick. its actually more to ship it back for warranty than I paid for it, which I think is a little silly.

Incredible buy on sale, not so much at the full price. Very fast and solid (metal casing rather than plastic). Blue LED isn't annoying like other drives.
