This drive has very high read/write speeds compared to anything else in this price range. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a quick drive.

After 3 years of faithful service, the drive is still tickin' along although it doesn't get used as much since I have faster and larger thumb drives. ATTO Disk Benchmark indicates write speeds of 8 MB/s on larger files (>128 kB) but read speeds are a respectable 30 MB/s tested on a USB 3.0 port formatted NTFS.
This drive was a great purchase! It runs fast, and its solidly built. I'm just glad I can carry around a blue ray movie on my flash drive without it taking forever to copy over. Would definately reccommend.

I just ran this through my washer. Rolling around in cold water for 30 minutes I found it between the washer and dyer (so it did not go for a dry cycle).
I bought this for a day and I try to do some speed test on it. It is very slow USB drive. It only have around 8-10MB/second for writing speed. It is very SLOW. I have a A-DATA 4G high speed USB drive. It can do 16MB/second for writing. I don't knwo why people said it is a fast USB drive. I am not happy with the speed for this USB drive.

I was impressed with the speed of this memory drive but I was not very impressed with how they designed the cap. The cap is only a tightly fitting rubber piece that slides on and off. Although I can see this working to keep out dirt ect., it doesnt seem to protect much against physical abuse of bending and banging which a well used drive will go through. However, if all you are looking for speed this drive is the fastest I have ever used.

First USB drive of a dozen owned to die. Glad I chose it because of the lifetime warranty (oh, and the price was good). Have to mail it to California tomorrow - hope it's not too costly to send off.
Got this to replace the JetFlash 16GB that died on me in 6 months I got a 8GB one that's for backup but after the 16GB one went, I'm not so happy with my data been on the 8GB. Here's the Benchmark Score:
