MFC7220 - Low running cost. Laser toner Vs fax film ribbon or ink. Black & white scanning only. Sheetfed Vs flatbed. Be careful to feed it to avoid paper jam. 20-24 lbs paper only. USB 2.0 interface cable (maxi 6 ft / 2 m ) is required to purchase separately. Not included. Can get it for a $1. Without the cable, can still try the phone, like trying call display.. Can be hooked to an answering machine to save you monthly voice mail cost. Lots of info on MFC 7220 on Brother's website, like FAQ... English & French manuals are included in the box. Can also get Spanish, simplified chinese... manuals on Brother's web. Not easy to get help from Brother over the phone. Only open till 6p ET I waited longer than 15min...no ph message service. Have not tried emailing to Brother yet.

I bought this unit for my business a few months ago, and have just gotten around to posting my review. Personally, I LIKE this little unit, it's quick & convenient. I use it mainly as a fax machine (10 pre-progammable fax numbers), and secondly as a printer, and thirdly as a copier. I use it to quickly copy customer WO's - in case they ask for a copy, and other small documents around the shop that may need to be duplicated. I also use it as our printer. Our shop is wireless, and I'm planning on purchasing the Brother wireless print/scan server. This is my third piece of Brother equipment, and the bottom line is: I like it.

Very good deal when it is on sale at around C$175. If you frequently need to copy small documents of different sizes, then this is not for you. Otherwise, just use a regular size paper to hold your small document before inserting to eliminate any chance of jamming. Also, it is designed to be always-on.
