Summary Best card I have ever owned. Can take the newest games (Tomb Raider and BioShock) and run them on best settings. Amazing price for fantastic card, quiet dual fans and red exterior threatens my girlfriend as my next true love.
Summary Was in the market for a new card and came across this guy. With I coming with a few free games I was able to have tomb raider, and bioshock in max graphics and stay in 30 fps range, very happy with XFX. When the fans are pushed to max speed they can be very loud but under auto settings it never gets too loud partly because of the dual fan layout.
Pros Lifetime Transferable Warranty Awesome customer service XFX Support and NCIX Love the look of the silver casing
Cons Cannot overclock much Runs hotter than other card -Most importantly- The card I got was not a the revised VA.2 Model
Summary Got to say again I love XFX Warranty on there DD GPU's it just adds so much more value, especially for those who plan on selling their cards later on.
This card at stock will play most games at Ultra setting without lag, drop AA and Shadows down a notch and 60fps shouldn't be a problem. Yet I got to say the core overclock on this card is the week point I was unable to loop Unigine Heaven at all top settings at anything over 1100MHZ core without it crashing.
Another disappointing fact is that after I replaced my first faulty card I found out that there was a revised GHZ Edition card. Which uses the discontinued Black Editions design. Black Editions PCB, larger heat sink, 4 heatpipes, has VRM temp and version other sensors. So if you are planning to buy one of these in the near future try to see if they can get you a VA.2 model.
Summary Great card. First thing, it's very quiet. I always bench the heck out of new cards as soon as I get them. Mining Bitcoins or Folding. Uninstalled old Catalyst, installed new from XFX. Didn't even remove the disc from the sleeve. Immediately after install I OC'ed to 1150/1300 without touching the voltage. It's been running smooth all day r 99% usage. Temp easily gets to 82C r67% fan. It's in an Antec 900 with OC'ed 2500k to 4.4 with a CoolIt Eco, 3 green WD's and SSD. Runs great on OCZ 500w PSU and no case fans running. Guess it's time to start up some case fans and test some games. MIR is handy and XFX is usually quick to ship. I've only used AMD cards, and was thinking of switching to Nvidia, but after seeing some reports of power usage of 660 Ti's and checking some prices.. Well, this was a no brainer for the price.
Pros Affordable Great Cooling features Colours are awesome!!
Cons None so far, Drivers may be an issue for some
Summary Affordable card, great use of cooling with the 2 fans, colours match the inside of my case perfectly. XFX has great warranty services in case you run into some down the road.
Summary This chip runs very quiet, It is also very cool with temperatures of 30C idle and 70 Max, Runs most games in their highest settings Supports up to 6 monitors if you have the right setup, 2 monitors can be support with little cost and ease using the 2 dvi ports. The chip overclocks decently.
Pros life time warranty, dual fan design, heatsink for the memory and other components, runs cool, no more than 60C
Cons fans feel a little flimsy, shroud now blocks the tab used to release it from the pci slot,IT DOESNT COME WITH A STICKER, at one point the fans started hitting the wires and needed some crude readjustment, does not use direct heatpipe touch
Summary current games run smooth at ultra easily, I do not want to buy another card for 5 years or so the life time warranty is welcome, I bet this would run even cooler if it used direct heatpipe touch, The rebate barely covers the HST which was 27$, so I did not really save anything
Summary Very nice card - ran cooler than my 5770. AMD drivers are stable and reliable, and games look fantastic on the card with settings cranked. Highly recommended!
Summary Bought this as an upgrade for my HD 7550, I'm incredibly impressed with this card. The shroud looks great, and the level of performance delivered by this card makes me a very happy customer.
Cons I bought this then next week it went down another twenty dollars, Doh.
Summary Look at the ASUS 7870, might be a bit cheaper and runs cooler. Im glad this thing consumes less power and cooler than the GTX series of performance cards. Not as beefy, good for the casual gamer that wants a little more oomph. When these go down a little more might crossfire this GPU.
Pros - Not too big, fit Altec 300 2 perfectly - Stunning performance for Guild Wars 2 - Very affordable price
Cons - Nothing really
Summary Great price for the exceptional values this card delivers. In the most busy events with all kinds of spells and explosions going on in Guild Wars 2, the graphic was so smooth that it was like watching a movie on the big screen.
Summary I'm mostly playing Guild Wars 2 right now, OC'd to 1100/1250 it doesn't run hotter than 65C in my storm enforcer after a few hours. OC'd a bit more it reached 72C in a few hours of gaming. Great card.
It's a bit more than I usually pay for video cards, but it's a good value.
Pros Price Runs cool and quiet Looks great Two free games, of Sleeping Dogs, and Dirt Showdown
Cons Was on back order, besides that. None.
Summary Was building a computer for a friend, and his budget was tight. Yet he wanted a "higher" end card. Got it for $220 after the mail in rebate, and performs closely to the 660ti, for a lot less. Fit the budget perfectly, down to the dollar. Would recommend to others on a tight budget.
Pros Great value - bought this for $219 after MIR with a free download of Dirt Showdown. As of this moment you get a free download of Sleeping Dogs too, which is a great game, I tried the demo!
I bought this for the Guild Wars 2 release and it's been working great at nearly max settings (couple settings set to high instead of ultra). I average about 50-60fps with dips to mid 30s very occasionally.
Cons I bought this card for the Guild Wars 2 launch and most of the time I get 50-70fps, but occasionally it dips to the mid 30s here and there.
Summary I was trying to decide between this, the 660ti and 7950 but at the current price with MIR I'm really happy with my decision. Would this be great for the enthusiast gamer? Probably not. But for the casual gamer, it's perfect.
I've read reviews that mentioned occasional crashes and problems with World of Warcraft. As of right now, no crashes for me.
Pros - Price is not too bad. - Looks fantastic. - HDMI (I hate mini-HDMI!). - Not too noisy when under load. - Never gets too hot. Runs very cool. - Easy to overclock.
Cons - Drivers could use an update or two.
Summary I got this card to replace my 2x GTX 460 1GB cards. It performs really well. The games I play can be maxed out without any issues (Battlefield 3, Just Cause 2 and even Crysis). A couple of titles I own such as Crysis 2 and Batman: Arkham City seem to struggle maintaining a buttery smooth frame rate when cranked to the max, even after overclocking - but it's no big deal. Every game I have is still very playable with this card. I also love the way it looks!
The Unigine Heaven benchmark (fully optimized at 1920x1080 without 3D) came out with a result of just over 40fps average (1150MHz).
