Pushes some air

NOISY!!
|
I wanted to replace an aging panaflo L1A, also i needed a quieter fan since the panaflo was my noisiest case fan.
So Coolermaster advertise this fan as ULTRA SILENT and is rated 8 dbs quieter than my old fan. Looks good! I install the fan and i hear it whine OVER the 4 other fans even with the case cover closed. They advertise this fan as 13 db, but it is CLEARLY WITHOUT ANY DOUBT A LOT LOUDER than my 8-10 years old panaflo L1A that is rated 21db!?? It is far from being silent, i wonder why they call it ULTRA SILENT. So i've put my old fan back inside the computer case and the coolermaster is stored with the useless stuff in a cardboard box the basement, now it is really ultra silent!

Silent, and I mean silent! Cheap
|
Airflow isn't amazing
|
Bought this for a little extra cooling for my hdds. This fan is absolutely silent. At full speed I can't hear it over my cpu fan and power supply. It doesn't move a ton of air compared to bigger and faster fans, but it does help a little bit with my cooling. Pricematched it down to 5.50 which made it pretty much dirt cheap, so at that price it's definitely a good purchase.

Like all the other Cooler Master product I have purchased, this fan rocks! It moves a large amount of air and is very quiet. It also feels very well built, and has so far been very reliable. Awesome fan at an awesome price.

Works as a fan should. It blows air, and is incredibly quiet. The installation of the fan was a breeze, and it seems to be working without an issue. I'm quite happy with it.

Very Quiet, Nice Airflow

I got this fan for the bottom opening on my case to intake some air. It runs at 1400 RPM and you can't hear it unless you close to it. My system temp also went down by 1 degree. Reduced my idle CPU temp by 3 degrees, very great fan.

Not as loud as my last fan.
|
Not as quite as I would have hoped. And it has a very short power lead.
|
Purchased this thinking that I wouldn't hear the fan too much. I wasn't impressed. Will try a different brand in the future. But I do have to say that it is not as load as a fan that cost me much more. Seeking an extesion to allow me plug it into my motherboard direcly. Using an ASUS older motherboard an the plug in location is on the other side.

it's a bit more expensive but in order to make an ultra silent pc I have no choice (because I'm a coolermaster fans).Everything is good and just wait for its "on sale" day at that time I could buy more.

These fans are definitely on the quiet side. Unless your room is totally quiet, you will hardly hear them at all.

-low cost -nearly silent -comes with extra cable for 3 or 4 pin mounting
|
-motor has a slight noise to it and fan hear some air flow. -one of two fans bought had an annoying but nearly silent tapping\ticking noise. -More like 20dba+ cause of the slight motor noise.
|
I bought 2 of these fans and used both with slightly different results. First fan had a nearly silent but very irritating tapping\ticking noise like the fan was out of balance. Even with a fan control on low the tapping\ticking noise was still there.
The second fan didn't have this issue but has a little bit of motor noise. If the other fan didn't have that tapping noise I would give this a 5. Considering the price I couldn't expect much better than the second fan I used.
This is one of the more silent fans I have used. Only bested by a chieftech attached to a fan control on low speed and the sightly more expensive but best ever used Arctic Cooling Arctic 8L Low Speed 80MM cooling fan(limited to exhaust position. Want to know more about this fan just mentioned read my product review.
Overall, best value for unrestricted mounting at a rock bottom price. On a fan speed control at lower fan speeds it is what most would deem silent but you'll have very little air flow.

I have two of these in my case and they're super quiet. I forget they're even there. They are still going strong seven months later. Great fan.

Virtually inaudible fan!
|
Does not push a lot of air (but that's an expected and acceptable function of the design).
|
Very quiet fan. However, it doesn't work with Intel Hardware Monitoring because it doesn't spin until it gets ~6v, whereas the Intel fan control ASIC expects low-speed air movement at 3.85v. Be careful if you intend on using this fan with an Intel mobo!
