We are looking for a results-oriented Merchandiser who will move considerable amounts of inventory and product (some occasionally bulky and heavy) within a high-volume and fast-paced retail environment for the purpose of stocking and organizing such product to display standards within three hours of its arrival. The ideal candidate will have access to a vehicle and have related experience in a retail environment. Successful candidates will be able to maintain internal customer satisfaction, and ensure consistent productivity and quality of service. Responsibilities
Unload stock from vehicles and/or pallets to be readied for display
Stock to maintain appropriate merchandise for display according to planogram
Maintain proper signage on all display stock as directed
Merchandise, tag, sign, price, and secure products in the store as per planograms, inventory, and merchandising standards
Replenish products, perform up/down stocking activities including detailing and fronting product to proper selling position
Conduct cycle counts and reconcile variance
Acknowledge customers, respond to general customer inquiries and refer to applicable sales associates
Ship and receive merchandise to and from store as per company procedures
Operate store equipment to move products as per required safety standards
Maintain safe aisles and public walkways free of obstructions and hazards
Report overstocked products, damaged or unusable stock, and planogram status to appropriate supervisor
Complete and written merchandise reports and timesheets as directed in a timely manner
Qualifications
Able to report to multiple work sites during a single shift as needed and provide proof of automobile insurance
Experience with customer contact in a retail and/or service environment
Retail electronics and/or technology experience is a plus
Shine in customer service
Stellar problem solving skills
Willing to work retail hours; must be flexible and willing to work to task completion
beyond normal business hours, if necessary
Ability to listen carefully and actively
High school or equivalency required
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use office equipment. The employee may be required to perform tasks at varying heights (e.g. climb step ladders). Furthermore, the employee is occasionally required to exert up to 75 lbs. of force and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently to move objects.
